The proposed renovation involves the demolition and new construction of numerous Gypsum Board and metal stud walls. Additionally, the concrete capped, filled CMU walled Drug Storage Vault will be repurposed as the new Compounding/Hazardous Drug Room. All finishes within the renovated area will be replaced.
The existing hot and cold water, waste and vent infrastructure in the area will be revised as required. Several existing plumbing fixtures will be removed with some of these to be replaced. Existing HVAC terminal units and ducting will remain; diffusers will be relocated as required to conform to the new plan. No additional electrical distribution will be required due to capacity. New branch wiring devices will be needed, along with new 2×4 LED fixtures in all renovated areas.
