This position will assist with the bidding and estimating of new proposals, and will primarily be responsible for subcontractor procurement.
Essential Job Functions
- Locate potential subcontractors from a wide variety of sources
- Maintain communication with Subcontractors and track their progress on supplying quotes and bids
- Work with the bid team in preparation of the overall proposal
- Knowledge of common equipment vendors and subcontractors is helpful
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Science preferred
- Prior experience and/or knowledge of the construction industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Enjoys being part of a dynamic working team
