Project consisted of building IT infrastructure corrections and modifications. New and modified electrical, mechanical and architectural improvements were also incorporated into this project as necessary to support the IT modifications. All work was installed in (9) separate buildings throughout the VA campus. The project required complex access control scheduling, planning, coordination and progress meetings with the VA staff, (12) subcontractors, and multiple independent suppliers. The project involved the restructuring of (24) IT distribution rooms, each of which included additional HVAC cooling when required. Also included is additional space added to campus main server room including new UPS/PDU and CRAC units to support this central data storage facility.
